We came here to celebrate our anniversary. We had asked for a window table on our reservation and they delivered. We had a wonderful corner table with a 360+ view of downtown Las Vegas. We initially received bread service with a sourdough loaf and a cheese loaf as well as flavored salt and butter. We started by ordering a bottle of champagne. We got off to a rough start when it was delivered as it wasn’t very cold. We mentioned that to our server and he apologized and said that management didn’t store the champagne in a very cold refrigerator for some reason. So we had to wait for 10 or 15 minutes for the champagne to get cooler in the bucket. But from that point, everything got much much better. We started by ordering the grilled Caesar salad and a bone marrow. Both were absolutely delicious and nicely presented. We then ordered a filet and a small prime rib. Both were wonderful. Absolutely perfectly prepared. We had ordered so much food that we couldn’t eat at all and took some home with us. Our servers were wonderful as well. They kept on top of us as needed, and we’re both very friendly. We highly recommend stopping by for an upscale dinner.

This was dinner for our last night in Las Vegas. What a treat! The food was absolutely amazing, we only got small plates and apps to share, but everything was phenomenal. The French Onion Soup was the best I have ever had. Our waiter Duke had wonderful suggestions, all the staff at this restaurant are top tier, polite, friendly, and knowledgeable on the menu.

The signage at Binion’s for the elevator to take you to the Top of Binion’s Steakhouse is virtually non-existent so just save yourself some time and ask any employee on the main floor. Once you’re up there, though, it’s really cool. The atmosphere is old-school Las Vegas steakhouse, really beautiful for its age, with a fantastic view. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. My steak (Ribeye) had a lot of flavor and was cooked to the requested temperature (medium-rare). My only two issues with the steak were the fact that it was a little under seasoned (a little salt fixed that) and they didn’t let it rest quite long enough, as the juices ran out of it and it ended up being a little tougher than it should have been. Mashed potatoes were good, asparagus was little late in the season but still had good texture and flavor. All in all, Top of Binion’s was a good experience and we would recommend it!

This was my first time at Top of Binion’s although I’ve tried several other steakhouses in the area. This one is definitely old school which I was totally expecting. The interior is clean but hasn’t been updated for decades. The wait staff was extremely friendly and very attentive. I’m only giving them 4 stars instead of 5 for service because I’ve been to other steakhouses where the service was absolutely impeccable and Binions did not blow me away in that category but they were still very good. My husband and I shared the 10 oz ribeye which was more than enough for us. I did like the fact that the entrees came with sides including a vegetable and your choice of potato or risotto unlike most steakhouses that charge you for each side. Since we were sharing a steak we added the split fee of $20 so we were each able to have our own sides. We both chose the risotto which was made with parmesan cheese. It was extremely good. The steak was very flavorful. My husband started with the French onion soup and it was really good. The broth was nice and rich and very flavorful. I had the lobster bisque and wasn’t overly impressed. They serve it table side and pour the soup over a small crostini with a small amount of lobster on it. I was disappointed compared to other lobster bisques I’ve tried. It was pretty bland and had a tiny amount of lobster. It was also lukewarm so the crostini underneath never got soft enough to eat. For the price I was really expecting more. They provide warm sourdough bread as a starter with regular and garlic butter along with a few sea salt options which was pretty unique and tasty. They served a small cup of lemon sorbet as a palate cleanser before our main course which was a nice little touch. For desert I tried the Baked Alaska which was strawberry and cherry ice cream on top of sponge cake covered in meringue. They toasted the meringue with a torch tableside which was nice but the meringue was on the softer side leaning towards whipped cream rather than the nice toasted meringue that I was expecting. It was a nice size portion but nothing I would have again. All in all, this is a cool old Las Vegas steakhouse with nice views especially in the evening but I think it was a bit overpriced for what they offered.

This place is a classic. So glad we went. Located in Fremont street, the service was amazing! Pierre and the rest of the staff were great. They explained the menu in-depth and best service. We had to share our plate because the portions are so big. Delicious! And the view was spectacular. This is a must try when in Vegas!

I wanted to have a nice night out in downtown and Binion’s fit the bill perfectly. I was struggling to pick a downtown steakhouse but I’m glad I chose this one as it was by far one of the best meals I’ve had at a steak restaurant. I started my meal with an amazing caprese salad and freshly baked sourdough bread. They also brought 3 kinds of salt and two kinds of butter. My wife had a fantastic spinach salad. I ordered a ribeye and she ordered salmon and both were perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. The meals come with sides like potatoes, grilled vegetables or Mac and cheese. We added the steak fries. All the sides were great as well and the right size given how much other food we had. Service was top notch. Two people work each table and we never felt like we weren’t being taken care of. This has been here since the 50s and feels very old school with upholstered booths and padded chairs. It’s all dark brown wood and red accents like old Vegas. While the view might have been better after dark, I still enjoyed sitting next to the window and seeing the city. All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant for a night out. It’s pricey but well worth it.
